Access

Directions: The Estate lies to the west of the town of Montgomery. Access Details: Access is available all year by way of the following: Offa's Dyke National Trail - The trail runs north to south through the Estate. There is an extensive network of footpaths and bridleways throughout the Estate. Lymore Park is served by several public footpaths and bridleways as is the countryside east of Montgomery. Montgomery Castle has unlimited public access during daylight hours. A public footpath runs through the ancient fort at Ffrydd Faldwin which lies to the west of Montgomery Castle. There are four waymarked circular walks around the village of Chirbury and others around Montgomery. Leaflets detailing routes are available locally.
