BLENHEIM PALACE
Considered to be a masterpiece of the English Baroque style, it was built by Sir John Vanburgh between 1705-1722 and was the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. The original garden was laid out by Henry Wise with later alterations by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown.
